Due to the ongoing bushfire emergency which has impacted on so many people, including potters, in Australia over the past few weeks and months, we have decided to defer the planned Claymakers Expo until May 29th 2020 to give every one a chance to regroup. It has been such a difficult time for so many of you either directly, or indirectly as you support relatives and friends, so we just felt it was not the time to be asking potters for additional work for this event. A few months will hopefully see the end of this horrendous fire season – and whilst the scars will be deep and the rebuilding ongoing, we hope things will slowly get back to normal.
The good news is we have been really lucky to be able to coordinate with the Coal Loader team to link in with the following Artisan’s Market day ie the one that happens in May for the last weekend of the Autumn, so we will set up on Friday 29th and be open for business on Saturday 30th until Monday 1st June.
The format and the program will remain exactly the same, nothing will change, so we will start to pull this together again now and look forward to a successful and happy day.
Our apologies for the short term disappointment but I think you will all agree it was the best thing to do.
